About Me

Hola!

My name is Michelle and I am a pediatric occupational therapist in Miami, FL. I am the owner of a small home-based therapy service (Neuplay Therapy) dedicated to providing evidenced-based, brain-based, bilingual, and family-centered occupational therapy services to families in the Miami area.

Aside from my clinical work, I also serve as a board member of the Coalition of Occupational Therapy Advocates for Diversity (COTAD) and contribute to the work within the field of occupational therapy to support BIPOC students and practitioners in their pursuit of higher education.

The intention behind this platform is not only share my journey as an occupational therapist, but to share my unique life experiences as a Latinx health care practitioner and hopefully inspire others to pursue their dream.

Obstacles WILL come along on your journey to your dreams but always remember that YOU CAN overcome them with the right mindset.
